Creating an Account

To submit events or access certain features, you must create a promoter account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All content submitted through your account
• Maintaining the security of your login credentials
• All actions taken using your account
• Ensuring your use complies with these Terms

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Submission of false or misleading information
• Abuse of our services or staff
• Prolonged inactivity (after notice)

Submission Rights

By submitting an event to SFL Car Shows, you grant us:

• A non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your event information on our Website and related platforms (social media, email newsletters, partner sites)
• The right to modify event formatting for display purposes (we will not alter factual content)
• Permission to promote your event through our marketing channels

Content Standards

All event submissions must:

• Be accurate and truthful
• Relate to automotive events in South Florida (Tampa to Vero Beach and south)
• Include complete and correct venue information
• Not contain false, misleading, or deceptive information
• Not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
• Not promote illegal activities

Prohibited Content

You may NOT submit events that:

• Are outside our coverage area (unless approved by us)
• Contain spam, advertising, or promotional content unrelated to the event
• Include personal information of third parties without consent
• Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Violate any local, state, or federal laws
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
• Contain hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
• Promote illegal racing, street racing, or dangerous activities

Moderation and Approval

All event submissions are subject to our review and approval process:

• We reserve the right to approve, reject, or request changes to any submission
• We are not obligated to publish any event
• Approval typically occurs within 24-48 hours (not guaranteed)
• We may reject events that do not meet our standards or coverage area
• Rejection does not create any liability on our part

Event Accuracy

You are responsible for ensuring all event information is accurate and current. You must:

• Update or cancel events if details change
• Notify us immediately if an event is canceled
• Provide accurate dates, times, and locations
• Ensure you have permission to promote the event

We are not responsible for inaccurate event information provided by promoters.

Recurring Events

If you submit a recurring event, you confirm that:

• You have ongoing authority to promote all occurrences
• The event follows the stated recurring pattern
• You will notify us if the recurring pattern changes or ends

Your Content

"User Content" means any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Website, including:

• Event descriptions and details
• Event flyer images
• Profile information
• Comments or feedback

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting content, you grant SFL Car Shows:

• A perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your content
• The right to use your organization name and logo in connection with your submitted events
• Permission to create derivative works from your content for promotional purposes

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that:

• Violates these Terms
• Infringes third-party rights
• Is reported by users as inappropriate
• We determine is harmful to our Website or reputation

We are not obligated to review all content before it appears on the Website, but we reserve the right to do so.

Reporting Violations

Banner Advertising

SFL Car Shows offers banner advertising placements for automotive businesses. Advertising is subject to separate written agreements with specific terms regarding:

• Ad placement locations and rotation
• Pricing and payment terms
• Ad content standards
• Performance reporting
• Campaign duration

Advertising Standards

All advertisements must:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not contain false or misleading claims
• Not promote illegal products or services
• Not contain malicious code or inappropriate content
• Meet our technical specifications for size and format

Ad Rejection

We reserve the right to reject or remove any advertisement that:

• Violates our content standards
• Competes directly with SFL Car Shows
• We determine is inappropriate for our audience
• Does not meet quality standards

Rejection or removal of ads does not create any liability on our part beyond refund of unused prepaid amounts (if applicable).

Performance Metrics

We provide impression and click data for advertising campaigns. However:

• We do not guarantee any specific number of impressions or clicks
• We are not responsible for ad-blocking software that prevents display
• Metrics are provided "as is" and may contain minor inaccuracies
• We reserve the right to filter invalid clicks or impressions

Premium Showcase Listings

Event organizers may purchase premium placement for enhanced visibility:

Premium Service Terms

By purchasing premium services:

• You agree to payment terms specified in your order
• Premium status begins upon payment confirmation
• We will make reasonable efforts to provide premium visibility as described
• We do not guarantee specific traffic, clicks, or attendance results
• Premium placement does not exempt events from our content standards
• Refunds are provided only if we fail to deliver the service (at our discretion)

Cancellation and Refunds

• Monthly premium services can be canceled with 15 days notice before the next billing cycle
• Single event premium purchases are non-refundable once the event is published
• If we remove your premium event for violating these Terms, no refund is provided
• We may offer prorated refunds for service failures at our discretion

SFL Car Shows Ownership

All content on the Website (except User Content) is owned by SFL Car Shows or licensed to us, including:

• Website design, layout, and graphics
• SFL Car Shows logos, trademarks, and branding
• Software, code, and functionality
• Proprietary data compilations

Our intellectual property is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or logos without written authorization
• Create derivative works from our Website
• Reverse engineer our software or systems
• Frame or mirror our Website

Limited License to Users

• Freedom from viruses or harmful components
• Fitness for a particular purpose

Event Information Disclaimer

We do not verify the accuracy of event information submitted by promoters. We are not responsible for:

• Canceled or rescheduled events
• Inaccurate event details (dates, times, locations)
• Event quality or safety
• Disputes between attendees and organizers
• Injuries or damages at events

ATTENDING AUTOMOTIVE EVENTS INVOLVES INHERENT RISKS. ATTEND AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SFL CAR SHOWS AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Personal injury or property damage (unless caused by our gross negligence)
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the Website
• Reliance on content or information on the Website

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain warranties or damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@sflcarshows.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith for 30 days.

Arbitration Agreement

If informal resolution fails, you agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, NOT AS A CLASS ACTION, CONSOLIDATED ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any separate service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and SFL Car Shows regarding use of the Website.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect, and an enforceable term will be substituted reflecting our intent as closely as possible.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any affiliate or successor without restriction.

No Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and SFL Car Shows.

Survival

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including indemnification, limitation of liability, dispute resolution, and intellectual property rights) will survive termination of these Terms.

Electronic Communications

By using the Website, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. You agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, government actions, or internet service failures.
